All minor surgery services are personally performed by Dr Ayaz Tokhi. Dr Tokhi is an experienced minor surgeon and also works within consultant provided NHS minor surgery services across Birmingham.
Yes. Minor surgery under local anaesthetic is very safe when performed by experienced clinicians. As with any procedure, small risks such as bleeding, infection or scarring can occur — these will be fully discussed beforehand.
Most patients report minimal discomfort. Local anaesthetic is used to numb the area. You may feel pressure but not sharp pain.
